Came across your blog while doing a search on "tri plane hulls" of all things and enjoyed reading a few of your posts. I also am into surf, Rob Bell, and the environment, so your blog was a good find.
Hope you don't mind answering a question for me. I am looking for a new surfboard. Started out on a 7'2" epoxy pug performer (a hybrid from Matt Kechele). I'm looking for something a bit more maneuverable, something like this Mandala board you've got I think. How do they ride compared to more traditional shortboard? Harder to turn? More stable? I'm guessing a bit of both. I live in the middle of Canada so I basically have to buy on sight and spec - the closest shop is 8 hours away and will have to special order in unless I pick up the 6'6" CI Flyer II he has in stock and says is a great board for the next step. Any help would be great. My email is wadegatymaildotcom or leave a comment here. Thanks.
